L.1.1.J Lesson Plans

"Produce and expand complete simple and compound declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences in response to prompts."

Our Take:In year two, students are taught to independently write different types of sentences. These types include declarative (a statement of fact or opinion), interrogative (a question), imperative (a command or request), and exclamatory (a statement that shows an emotional response and often ends with an exclamation point).

These lesson plans can help students practise this Common Core State Standards skill.
